To provide students with direct exposure to advanced automotive engineering and the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) market, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Kien Giang College (KGC) recently partnered with Geely Kien Giang – Tasco Auto Can Tho to host a specialized seminar and career orientation session.
Through this collaborative event, automotive students gained valuable insights into the reality of the automotive industry. Beyond theoretical knowledge, they had the opportunity to experience modern vehicle models firsthand and engage with corporate experts. Discussion topics focused on emerging technology trends, essential professional skills, and new recruitment demands in the evolving market.
As the global automotive industry undergoes a major shift toward electrification and smart technology, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry reality is crucial. This initiative not only expands students' technical knowledge but also helps them better understand future career paths, workplace environments, and employer expectations.
