Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a time for children to play, parade with lanterns, and enjoy festive treats, but also a meaningful occasion to share love and bring simple joys to the young ones. Aiming to add vibrant colors to the 2026 Mid-Autumn season, faculty Youth Union branches under Kien Giang College joined hands to craft handcrafted lanterns for local children in An Giang Province.

From mid-August to mid-September 2026, a lively festive atmosphere swept across the college's Youth Union branches. Through the skill and care of youth union members, nearly 400 lanterns were crafted from simple, everyday materials. Though varying in shape and color, each lantern carries heartfelt affection and deep care for the children.

The initiative provided an opportunity to create meaningful gifts while spreading a spirit of volunteerism, compassion, and community responsibility. Working together to complete each piece fostered memorable moments of camaraderie among members and contributed practical value to the college's Youth Union activities.

Nearly 400 lanterns represent nearly 400 small gifts delivered with sincere love. These colorful lanterns will accompany local children across An Giang Province during the Mid-Autumn night, bringing them a joyous, warm, and unforgettable festival.

The Executive Committee of Kien Giang College Youth Union sincerely acknowledges and appreciates the dedication and shared efforts of all faculty branches and youth union members in making this meaningful initiative a success.
