To mark the start of the new academic year, the Kien Giang College Library has launched a series of dynamic activities to welcome incoming students.

Far more than a repository of books, the library serves as a gateway to endless knowledge. Its collection ranges from reference materials for academic success and specialized publications to inspiring literary works. Beyond its resources, the library offers a quiet, welcoming space ideal for independent research, study, and relaxation between classes.

For this academic year, the library has significantly expanded its collection across various genres and disciplines. In addition to enriching its resources, the library is rolling out reader engagement programs featuring rewards for dedicated patrons, highlighting the importance of reading in fostering critical thinking and lifelong learning.

To bring books closer to students, the library regularly organizes book introduction events tailored to student life and academic needs. On the morning of September 28, 2026, during the weekly assembly at Chu Văn An campus, the library hosted a presentation on the popular book "How Much Is Youth Worth?" by Rosie Nguyễn.

The event provided students with a moment to reflect on their academic journey and personal growth. Inspiring key themes—learning, reading, traveling, and self-discovery—the session aimed to motivate students to find meaningful books and embrace positive daily habits.
