To create a strong bridge between the school, businesses, and students, and to support students in career orientation and access to future job opportunities, on May 15, 2026, at lecture hall 12, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Kien Giang College successfully organized a "Career Counseling, Job Placement Support, and Business Networking" event.

Attending the exchange were Mr.ĐoànQuốc Hưng – Head of the Facultyof Electrical and Electronic, along with other faculty members. Representing the businesses was Mr. Trịnh BáTuân – Southern Regional Operations Manager of Vinpearl.Notably, the event attracted over 200 students from the Facultyof Electrical and Electronic.

In his opening remarks, Mr. ĐoànQuốc Hưng,M.A., emphasized that in recent years, the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Refrigeration have continued to offer extremely attractive and broad job opportunities for students after graduation. However, amidst the strong wave of digital transformation and the explosion of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the current labor market is setting stricter standards. He noted that solid professional knowledge is only a necessary condition. To truly break through and avoid falling behind, students must proactively update themselves on new technological applications from AI, while also seriously cultivating discipline in their work and honing essential soft skills. This comprehensive preparation is the golden key to helping them confidently adapt and seize future career opportunities.

Mr. Đoàn Quốc Hưng, M.A. – Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, delivered the opening speech and career orientation remarks for the program.

During the exchange session, Mr. Trịnh BáTuân – Representative of Vinpearl – shared insightful information about current workforce needs, the actual working environment, as well as the skills and certifications that help students gain a competitive advantage when applying for jobs.

More than 200 students from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics attentively listened and actively engaged in direct discussions with the enterprise representative.

Besides career guidance, the program also carries profound humanitarian significance with its scholarship program to support students facing difficulties and striving for academic excellence. Representatives from Vinpearl Southern Vietnam presented a scholarship package worth 10,000,000 VND along with meaningful gifts to encourage and empower the students on their career path.
